a bit on me

If I had to summarize what I enjoy most about my career:
I LOVE agile, design-centric startup.

If I had to summarize who I am:
I’m a third country kid, ambitious, career-driven creative, and first time mom.

If you have a minute:

Hi there, my name is Bianca. I was born in South Korea, but have had the opportunity to live in Singapore, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Shanghai, Chicago, the quaint town of Saint Blasien, Germany, and after 10 years of living in Southern California consider myself an Angeleno. I pull multicultural thinking and experience to influence my broad spectrum of design work. I am bilingual, fluent in German and English.

Graduating in 2005 with Abitur from College St. Blasien, I went on to start studying communications design in Freiburg, Germany. After transferring from Germany to the U.S., I received my BFA with Distinction in Graphic Design and Minor in Social Impact Design from ArtCenter College of Design, in Pasadena in 2012.

As an ENTP I enjoy playing devil’s advocate, accumulating knowledge as I go, and live for blatantly honest, big-picture-what-if-thinking. I have had the pleasure of creating work for small and large organizations alike. With an emphasis on brand identity and visual design, I’ve been creating brand integrated user experiences across platforms and operating systems for SaaS, retail, CMS and E-learning products. My experience builds from my work with large organizations such as Boston Consulting Group Digital Ventures, Nestlé R+D Switzerland, Guess? Inc., Hyperloop TT, to small startups like Phoenix LiDAR Systems, and Booktrope – assisting teams during all phases from product and business concepting, viability testing, to seed, accelerator, and series rounds. Having an entrepreneurial spirit, I’ve been fortunate to aid my husband establish Wild Rabbit Aerial Productions, an aerial drone cinematography business, from a garage startup to an industry leading name.

I currently work fulltime as a senior digital product designer/UX designer for Korn Ferry Advance, a startup branch within Korn Ferry.
